Elgin ISD breaks ground on Trinity Ranch Elementary, a new 800-student school funded by a 2021 bond, scheduled to open in August 2025.

Elgin ISD has broken ground on Trinity Ranch Elementary, a new 800-student capacity school, set to open in August 2025. has broken ground on its fifth elementary school, Trinity Ranch Elementary.

The project is funded through a voter-approved 2021 Elgin ISD Bond Referendum, which included over $39 million for the school. It's designed to accommodate approximately 800 students, will be built on 14 acres off Grist Mill Lane and Upper Elgin River Road, just south of Highway 290 in Elgin. "Every student deserves access to engaging and innovative learning experiences so they will have choice and opportunity for their future. Trinity Ranch Elementary will provide a safe and nurturing environment for students to learn and grow, fostering a sense of community and collaboration," said Elgin ISD Superintendent of Schools Dr. Jana Rueter.Planning for Trinity Ranch Elementary has been completed, and construction is currently underway.
