YEAR 6 pupils have to toil an extra hour at a school to be “better prepared for secondary school”.2Harris Primary Academy in Orpington, Kent, wrote to parents to say classes would not end until 4.30pm for Year 6 pupils so that they would be "better prepared for secondary school".
"By the time our academy replaced the school, the current Year 6 had missed out on good standards for the majority of their primary education. However others have supported the stance, and suggested parents should not be so quick to reject the opportunity for their kids to have more schooling.
How about how not to murder your fellow classmates and teacher Now that’s an extra hour well spent
