Since Dia Bell watched Ohio State win the national championship in 2014, the 2026 quarterback prospect has considered OSU his dream school. He visited Columbus on Thursday and became the fourth quarterback offered by the Buckeyes in the 2026 cycle. This was Bell's third visit to OSU, and he previously camped at Ohio State last summer and attended a game against Penn State. Ryan Day, the head coach, waited until he saw Bell throw in person before officially offering him a spot on the team.

Bell received the offer from coach Day and coach Chip Kelly, who watched his film and compared his playing style to that of a point guard in basketball
