Enrolling your child in a Chinese school, even if you don’t come from a Chinese family, has its fair share of perks! One of them is the opportunity to learn an additional language as well as the culture.

Principal Won Siew Knew reported that the school has 20 Malay students, making them the majority with 62 out of 66 students.The school’s success lies in its teaching methods. The principal of SJK Chi Sin emphasised that they recognise the diversity of languages spoken by students, prompting teachers to use special methods to help Malay students learn Chinese.
