This all-girls program completed a project that determines soil moisture levels in a plant to find out the best growing conditions.DOTHAN, Ala. - The GEMS at New Brockton Elementary School completed a project that determines soil moisture levels in a plant, to find out more about what conditions best help it grow.

“This also could help understand irrigation for soil moisture to be able to test different types of soil moisture to see what you might need in your ground to properly drain,” Jennifer Koehler, the math and science teacher at New Brockton Elementary, explained.
