A-State will welcome kindergarten-high school students for the solar eclipse. Students will take part in educational activities while also watching the April 8 event on campus.

Arkansas State University will welcome school students from the delta region and parts of northeast Arkansas for “Howl at the Sun,” a day full of fun and educational events for the solar eclipse.

Jonesboro will see totality for around two and half minutes before 2 p.m., allowing the students to witness the potentially once-in-a-lifetime event while at A-State. “There are multiple departments offering hands-on activities with a STEM-science theme and a space-science focus,” Harris added.
