Medical journals have retracted three additional studies, and a major scientific publisher added a note to an article that was previously taken down without explanation.

Discrepancies in data, including the reuse of images, were uncovered by a scientific sleuth in Britain. Despite ethics violations and previous retractions, the researchers continued publishing studies with suspicious data.
