We cordially invite outstanding young individuals from overseas to apply for the Excellent Young Scientists Fund Program via Tianjin University.The National Natural Science Foundation of China will continue to implement the National Natural Science Foundation Excellent Young Scientists Fund Program in 2024, referred to as"Overseas Outstanding Youth".
Applicants who have not yet returned to work in China full-time or who returned to work in China on or after January 1, 2023, must resign from their overseas positions or have no employment overseas upon receiving the funding notification. After receiving the funding notification, the recipient must resign from overseas work and return to China to work full-time for at least 3 years.
Housing and Healthcare: The university would provide a certain number of transitional housing units for incoming talents at both the Peiyangyuan campus and Weijin Road campus. These campuses are well-equipped with surrounding facilities, with direct subway access at Peiyangyuan campus.
Furthermore, the university has consistently adhered to the development philosophy of"strengthening engineering, emphasizing sciences, revitalizing humanities, and promoting medical sciences", all of which have directed to the establishment of a comprehensive disciplinary layout where engineering holds a prominent advantage, and the integration of science and engineering is balanced.
