A teacher's trick to catch people using AI to write essays for them has gone viral with many praising the simplicity of the trick. The rise, and constant evolution, of ChatGPT and other AI tools look set to change the face of the world and at its most basic level it can write an essay in seconds.

The technique was shared on TikTok by the account aibasics, with expert Tom Pagnozzi saying: "This teacher is a genius. She figured out how to see if students were using ChatGPT for their essays.
