Smoking may NOT increase risk of Alzheimer's, study finds

It has been proven that tobacco smoking increases the risk for cancer, heart disease, diabetes and even blindness.But a new study by the University of Kentucky's Sanders-Brown Center on Aging demonstrated that smoking is not associated with a higher risk of dementia.

I would assume any stimulate would not cause Alzheimer’s disease. Benzodiazepines on the other hand...

Nicotine actually helps prevent dementia and various cognitive degeneration as it activates acetylcholine receptors in the brain.
