The positions of Postdoc are available in Dr. Lizhong Wang’s laboratory within the Department of Genetics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.Highly motivated individuals with a Ph.D. degree in genetics, epigenetics, immunology, or cancer biology, as well as the working experience, are strongly encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will pursue ongoing projects to identify the mechanism of tumor progression and metastasis, as well as to develop cancer targeted therapy. These projects will focus on tumor microenvironment and metastasis and targeted therapy in animal models and investigate the underlying mechanisms of interaction between tumor and host during tumor progression and metastasis.
