The Ministry of Higher Education said the Dewan Rakyat unanimously approved the bill after the second and third reading by Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Zambry Abd Kadir. —PUTRAJAYA, March 19 — The Universities and University Colleges Bill 2023, which was approved by the Dewan Rakyat yesterday, is expected to be tabled in the Dewan Negara next month.

It said the bill would make the student empowerment agenda successful, marking a historic moment as the Universities and University Colleges Act is once again amended to elevate the dignity of public university students.
