Despite finishing with a silver medal, the Patriotes secured their third consecutive podium placement at the tournament – winning gold in 2022 and bronze in 2023. After a mundane 15 minutes in the middle period, play ramped up after UNB defenceman Kade Landry found himself in the penalty box for cross-checking.
