Olentangy Local School District officials confirmed damage to Berlin High School and Berlin Middle School. Seven schools across the district were without power, leading the district to cancel classes Friday. Decisions for next week have not been made yet. Nearby in Berlin Twp., longtime neighbors saw their homes and farms damaged. Ron Brown, who said he’d lived on Berlin Station Rd. for over 50 years, had major damage to his home.
His brand-new truck sat inside his garage and was largely holding up the roof of that garage.
