An active police investigation is underway following reports of missing prescription medication at Brecksville-Broadview Heights Elementary School. According to Brecksville Police, the assistant superintendent of the Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District notified the department in February that medication prescribed to students had gone missing from the elementary school clinic.
Police said two of the school nurses checked the prescription medication logs and confirmed that some medication was unaccounted for. Police have not said what type or types of medication went missing, or exactly when the prescription drugs disappeared, but the incident report states it occurred between Nov. 27 and Feb. 13
