The first days of anything can often bring some anxiety and anticipation to many people – be it for school, work, or even meeting new people. But for one little girl on her first day of school, she was blessed with the presence of her older brother, to guide her in navigating this new journey of her life.
“For their first day, teachers told parents that they could only come during recess to see their kids who started Standard 1. Suddenly, I saw this… my heart is melting,” wrote Wahida in a caption across the video. In a brief conversation with WORLD OF BUZZ, Wahida stated that her son, who is in Standard 3, went to check on his sister during recess before buying food for himself, wanting to see if she was settled for her day. Continuing on, Wahida mentioned that her daughter is enjoying school so far.
“Brought me back to 1997 when I was in Standard 1 and my brother was in Standard 3. Every recess, he would buy me nasi ayam and MILO ais, and would put it on the table in front of me to have. Thank you to my brother, even though we always fight until now,” light-heartedly wrote one user.
