Roy Bannerman has been rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow with serious injuries following the incident on the A9 near Aviemore.

Police were called to the two-vehicle smash, which involved a blue Skoda Octavia and a white Toyota Hilux pick-up, at around 1.45pm on March 5, near to Lynwilg.The 60-year-old was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow with serious injuries. He passed away on March 8.

Police are continuing to appeal for information and ask that anyone who can help, who has not yet come forward, to please make contact with Police Scotland.
