There is a new collaboration of artificial intelligence and robotics as researchers reveal a humanoid robot’s real-time sketching abilities.Researchers from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid have unveiled a development in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics.
Fernandez-Fernandez outlined the architecture, which comprises three interconnected networks: a global network extracting high-level features, a local network capturing low-level features around the painting position, and an output network generating the next painting positions. The team faced the challenge of translating AI-generated images into real-world canvases. They addressed this by creating a discretized virtual space within the physical canvas, enabling the robot to move and translate painting positions provided by the model.
