The teen, known as ‘Baby K’ is charged with attempted murder on a school bus in Prince George’s County last May.

A teenage boy accused of trying to fire a gun multiple times at a 14-year-old on a Prince George’s County school bus will be prosecuted in adult court on an attempted murder charge, a judge ruled.

Whalen said Holland would benefit more in the adult system and that the programs in the youth system were “insufficient.” At a news conference following the ruling, Braveboy said Holland’s case highlights several issues she is trying to address, including truancy and extending probation times if youths violate state juvenile serviceMichael Lawlor, Holland’s defense attorney, argued that his client should not bear the weight of society’s ills with juvenile crime.

Separately, the teenager was charged in D.C. and accused of killing the sister of an alleged accomplice in the attempted bus shooting, according to individuals familiar with the investigation. He was automatically charged as a juvenile in the D.C. case. However, that case has not yet proceeded while Holland faces his legal matters in Maryland. .
