Apple has terminated the developer account for Epic Games, the maker of Fortnite, preventing the company from releasing Fortnite and a third-party app store in Europe, Epic Games said Wednesday, the latest contention between the two companies amid a yearslong legal dispute.SOPA Images/LightRocket via Getty Imagesby Epic—said Epic Games was “verifiably untrustworthy” and would allegedly not comply with contractual commitments under Apple’s developer licensing agreement.

Apple cited its “contractual right” to terminate its developer agreement with Epic Games at the company’s “sole discretion,” noting Sweeney’s response to Schiller was “wholly insufficient and not credible.”
