Her father, Andrew Pollack, expressed his sympathy for Sydney's parents in an interview with the Miami Herald.
"It's terrible what happened. Meadow and Sydney were friends for a long, long time," Mr Pollack said.An online fundraising page has raised more than $US70,000 to cover the costs of Sydney's funeral. Fundraising organisers Brett and Blair Israel are family friends of the Aiellos and wrote on the page that it was a"privilege" to have had Sydney in their lives.

It is actually an assumption that the trauma she experienced was the cause of her suicide. That is not a valid way to look at the problem, you need to look at all of the survivors & see if there is a statistically significant rise in suicides amongst them, as found in abused kids
And USA cannot deal with the potential for change in gun ownership laws..............
