Durham police say Coronation Public School in Oshawa was evacuated Tuesday. Staff and students were forced from their classrooms as a precaution after a bomb

Police posted on X around 10:40 a.m. that the bomb threat was deemed to be a hoax and the school was cleared to re-open.Thanks to all the staff for ensuring our children’s safety this am after the bomb threat at Coronation Public School.

When we arrived after hearing about it all were in the back fields to their meeting spots. Again thanks for the quick response of our Durham Regional Police Department also.Bomb scares are just that? Whomever did it knows there are little if any consequences, especially if they are young offenders!
