Figures show 75% of penalty notices in 2017/18 were paid within 28 days, 10% were withdrawn, 7% led to prosecution and a further 8% were unresolved. Because people realise more than ever that the government talk shite and that they shouldn't worry about breaking the law anymore. Nothing but lies, incompetence and corruption from the top so why trust they know better

Its a no brainer ,take the kids for a holiday in school time save a couple of grand ,pay a £100 pound fine, have words with the holiday companys exploiting parents.

Probably because parents have had enough paging through the roof for holiday prices in school holidays, the government won't address that though

Power to the parents 👏👏👏

Didn't know parents went to school

Targets are the real reason for these fines. Schools need to meet targets to keep their funding.l would say that if no targets had ever been set these fines would never have been levied.

Me again in 6 weeks. Off peak holiday + fine still cheaper than school holiday price so quids in

The kids are being indoctrinated with far left propaganda 👏👏👏

Is that all the parents of the climate protesters?

How can they fine parents whilst encouraging them to strike over climate change?

Hands up kids if you think Jeremy Corbyn is a ct 🤔

Pay the fine and still save money on your holiday. Holiday companies and airlines need to be fair to families or attendance fines will continue to rise.

Probably because holidays in Europe are too expensive during school holidays and works out cheaper to take the school fine.

But can go and protest over climate change. What suits. Jog on.

Did they fine the parents of the ridiculous climate strike protests? What about the Muslim parents protesting LGBT lessons?
