ALL schools have been told to set up “special rooms” for teachers to rest and relax from job stress in an effort to create a more conducive learning environment, Education Minister Dr Maszlee Malik (pic) said.

He said a ministry circular dated Dec 19, 2018, had asked schools across Malaysia to create such resting areas so that teachers could rest during breaks or after working hours.

What is so special about teachers? Do they need R&R during working hours?!?!

maszlee Before giving any special R&R rooms , give teachers KPIs and reward them based on it, Don't adopt another poor policy of trying to win a few teachers' admiration but lose the war on education Don't misinterpret this principal's message

maszlee give them KPIs and reward them based on it, before giving any special R&R rooms Dont put the cart before the horse
