- A descendant of an American slave on Wednesday sued Harvard University to gain possession of photos of her great-great-great grandfather that the school commissioned in 1850 on behalf of a professor trying to prove the inferiority of black people.

A representative for Harvard declined to comment and said the university had not yet been served with the complaint. Agassiz encountered Renty and Delia when he was touring plantations in South Carolina for a research project sanctioned by Harvard that sought to support his view that black people were a different species, according to the lawsuit.

gabriellaborter Ridiculous..

gabriellaborter So she wants to bring attention to her great great grand father Renty who happen to be a slave. Did he do anything of importance? Are the pictures not in a museum to learn about these dark times? Why would she be seeking compensation?

gabriellaborter Are Jews able to sue Egyptians for their slavery! Are Irish able to sue the New England Elites for being Indenture Servants?

gabriellaborter Oh brother.

gabriellaborter Papa Renty let him free Harvard !!!!! RentaDelia

gabriellaborter And GeorgetownHoops just played their school last night. Hoyas
