A Dublin school which was forced to shut in October due to structural problems has told parents that it will have to close the establishment once again.
The deadly bacteria can cause a very serious - often lethal - type of pneumonia and St. Luke's has said that decision is in the best interest and safety of the children, Dublin Live reports. They have been advised by the Department to remain closed until health and safety clearance is received.In October, more than 1,200 pupils in Dublin had their mid-term break start earlier when both Tyrrelstown Educate Together and St Luke's National School were both shut with immediate effect after problems were discovered during structural checks.
