The Hurricanes, who lost in the semifinals last year after winning the 2021 conference title, advanced to the final with a 7-0 semifinal win over the St. Thomas Tommies on Oct. 28. The Hurricanes are hosting the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association women’s soccer championship at Eric Johnston Field in Summerside from Nov. 8 to 11.Gareth MacKinnon’s goal in the 22nd minute gave the Blue Devils a 1-0 lead at the half.
