According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, officers were called to the school on Lawton Avenue in the Panama Park area around 5:30 p.m. after reports that someone had been shot in the parking lot.The father, who is in his 50s, was arguing with his son, who is in his 30s, in the parking lot of the school.The two began struggling over the gun and during the struggle, the gun discharged, police said. The bullet struck the mother in the shoulder.
