A student who broke a retired nurse's arm in a car crash has been ordered to pay her £250 compensation.

The university dental student pulled out from a junction in front of Mrs Bell's vehicle which then hit her car.Binnie - who escaped with minor bruising - told a court she could not see Mrs Bell's car due to roadworks and barriers.
