A team of student volunteers from Cedars Christian school helped the Hart Pioneer Centre with the clean-up and winter preparation of their gardens this past week.

“We go out into the community, whether it be something like this or we go out to Ness Lake Bible Camp and we work outside, we pull weeds or help clean churches or help other community organizations,” said Amy Larson, Grade 12 Cedars Christian student, who was one of about 10 volunteers at the clean-up site Thursday.

The Hart Pioneer Centre is the only senior centre in Prince George owned, operated and maintained by its members.
