Texas Gov. Greg Abbott called ends its second week, an agreement on a school voucher-like program has yet to be made. If HB 1 is the result of the teamwork Abbott referred to, then it’s a rather drastic turn from the hardline, non-negotiable stance he’s taken on the matter thus far.
