Tragedy struck, some minutes ago, at Itafaji, Lagos Island, as a three-storey building housing a school collapsed, with many feared killed and over 100 trapped.
As at the time of filing this report, many students are being rushed to the General Hospital, Marina, while parents are trooping there to search for their children.

I think it's high time prohibiting private school from having storeys building! They are just building death trap they called schools! They are fond of changing bungalow to 3 storeys building so to accommodate more pupils! End must come to this nonsense!

Not another one.!!! As a Civil Engineer, this makes me very sad and worried about our building codes and supervision. Flagrant abuse of design specs by quacks and imposters in the building industry is indeed a case for concern.
