KUALA LUMPUR: Former MCA president Ling Liong Sik has advised present chief Wee Ka Siong not to waste his time “scolding” DAP’s Lim Guan Eng as there are enough people doing that now.
“But the first thing he does is to take financing away from poor children. Something wrong, isn’t it? Ling said he advised Wee to instead come up with ways to expand TAR UC, which has 340 courses with 25,000 students. Stating that TAR UC was open to all races, he said 97% of its students were employed within the first six months of graduation while the remaining 3% pursued further studies.
This matching grant is a legacy of the past government - by giving tax payers money to private colleges owned by political parties of BN. PH must stop this. Or give also to ALL private institutions regardless of political affiliation.
Mr.Ling. MCA hv 60 years to make a difference. It didn't but in fact regresses. Letting the voice being toned down to the extend of a whisper. You & Co. have a direct hand in how all Msians hv turned out now, with vast disparity & mis-guidance. So, go ask the man in the mirror.
