Coach Greg Haubner said his roster has about 25-27 healthy players, down from 44 at the start of the season.The forfeit leaves De La Salle with nine regular-season games. Coach Justin Alumbaugh said on Tuesday night that he has tried to fill the vacancy with a last-minute replacement but isn’t hopeful given the late stage in the season.
If the Spartans don’t find an opponent for this weekend, they will next play on Oct. 27 at Monte Vista before closing out the season at home against Clayton Valley on Nov. 3.
