“The teacher has continued being employed at the school despite both the principal and deputy principal being fully aware of the allegations,” he alleged. “Over the past five years, about 300 cases were reported nationally, and 173 cases were recorded in Gauteng alone,” he revealed. “The DA does not take this lightly and will be submitting questions to the MEC to ascertain when he will investigate this serious matter.
“The DA strongly believes that schools are meant to be safe havens for learning and teaching.
