The new episode of Derry Girls airs on Tuesday and it looks great.
It's often said that hurling requires a little bit of madness and if that cliche is held to be true, you would expect Orla McCool to be a more fearsome camogie player than, say, Gemma O'Connor. Granted, we're not quite sure if Orla has the skill, tenacity, and sheer will to win that the nine-time All-Ireland winner has, but she certainly can rival O'Connor when it comes to smacking the sliotar.
You see, it appears that Orla's rage is all driven by one thing, the intense dislike she has for her own socks. Erin hates injustice, Clare loathes prejudice, and Michelle's idea of hell on earth is a long stint in mass, but credit has to go to Miss McCool.Ahead of the episode going out on Channel 4 on Tuesday, JOE caught up with Dylan Llewellyn to find out how he got on with a hurl in his hand."You know the character of Father Peter , he taught me how to play hurling behind the scenes on Season 1. My aim was really good - so was my passing.
