The eighth week of Pennsylvania’s high school football season is in the books, and it was filled with some big-time individual performances.

Week 4 winner: Exeter Township’s Jayden Zandier wins fan vote for Pa. high school football player of the weekWeek 6 winner: Central Dauphin’s Mateo Crummel wins fan vote as Pa. high school football player of the weekErby accounted for 483 yards — 435 passing, 48 rushing — and seven touchdowns, breaking the state’s all-time touchdowns thrown record, in a 67-12 win over Newport.Eli Reider, QB, Mechanicsburg —Payton Wehner, QB, Pittsburgh Central Catholic —Lee Jr.

Knox became District 10′s all-time leading rusher, running for 241 yards and five touchdowns in a 70-6 win over Conneaut.Luke Stevenosky, RB, Minersville —Chris Doyle, RB, Milton —Harter ran for 212 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-6 win over Pequea Valley. He also had 11 tackles.CJ Rissmiller, RB, York Suburban —Joy accounted for 201 yards — 178 rushing, 23 on two catches —and two touchdowns in a 14-13 win over Camp Hill.
