Homicide unit investigating after man found fatally shot in south Columbus

According to police, officers were called to the 3000 block of Midway Avenue on a report of a suspicious vehicle. After officers found the vehicle, they discovered a victim, a 40-year-old man, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call Columbus police at 614-645-4730 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-8477 .
