University of Makati leaned on Mark Anthony Agno’s buzzer-beater jumper to edge Philippine Merchant Marine School, 15-14, in the finals of the Philippine Navy’s 3×3 men’s basketball of the 2023 Philippine ROTC National Capital Region Leg at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium inside Rizal Memorial Sports Complex along Vito Cruz in Malate, Manila.

The Army’s final match in the same 3×3 event saw Our Lady of Lourdes Technological College composed of Cesar Mansueto, Clarence Pintacasi, Eliseo Celoso and John Mansale upset favored City of Malabon University, 18-12, to win the title with Makati Science Technological Institute of the Philippines settling for the bronze medal.

Brent Asher Amboy and John Lester Bernardo combined for six points in the last two minutes to lift PATTS College of Aeronautics past Philippine State College of Aeronautics, 21-17, to clinch the Philippine Air Force title. PSCA settled for the silver and St. Jude College-Manila for the bronze. De La Salle University-Taft proved its mastery over University of Perpetual Help System Dalta, 25-15, 25-22, 25-22, to bring home the bronze medal in the same Naval tourney.
