Stormzy and Nirvana will join Beethoven and Mozart in music classrooms as part of efforts to diversify the curriculum.

Examples of lessons, which are yet to be finalised, include Year 9 students studying 'Clash' by Dave and Stormzy, a song which includes the lyrics: 'Freaks, I got more than one, f***, daddy and daughter one.' English classes feature contemporary black British writers Andrea Levy and Winsome Pinnock - alongside texts from the literary canon, such as Chaucer and Shakespeare
