Jeremiah Poff is an education and culture reporter for the Washington Examiner. A Virginia native, he previously worked for the Cardinal Newman Society, the Department of Education, and the College Fix. He graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2019 with a degree in journalism and a minor in human life studies.

A series of anti-Israel chalk messages that expressed support for Palestine and condoned recent terrorist attacks by Hamas appeared on the campus of Stanford University late Tuesday night.

The messages were located in the White Plaza, which is a location on campus that typically hosts information tables for student clubs and other organizations. Another said,"Resistance to occupation is legal, collective punishment is not," apparently comparing the attacks, which have reportedly included the execution of babies, to a revolutionary revolt.
