Popular weight loss drugs such as Wegovy and Ozempic come with an increased risk of severe gastrointestinal problems, including stomach paralysis, according to a study released Thursday by the University of British Columbia. The study found such effects can occur in non-diabetic patients using the drugs specifically for weight loss.
