Around 1,000 people have now signed a petition calling on the school to reverse their decision.

A Catholic grade school in Kansas has barred a same-sex couple from enrolling their child in kindergarten.

“One of the many reasons that we choose to send our children to St. Ann is the welcoming culture, which is central to the original ministry of Jesus Christ,” the petition read. “We are proud to be a part of a community that readily supports our neighbors and friends when they are in need.” “The Church teaches that individuals with same-sex attraction should be treated with dignity,” the statement read. “However, the challenge regarding same-sex couples and our Catholic schools is that same-sex parents cannot model behaviors and attitudes regarding marriage and sexual morality consistent with essential components of the Church’s teachings.”

I was raised Catholic. I don’t recognize Catholicism.

What sin has this child committed?

Going to be funny watching God from the pearly gates not let all these assholes in because of their hate! I’ll be drinking my coffee enjoying it all! These religious f🤬cks are going to be hating their eternal life! 🤣 Just try and be a good person in life!

The child must not have been attractive enough for them

Homosexuality, is an abomination to the Lord. Jesus Lives. Praise God the Lord.

An organized religious cult of hate. The child will be better not to be there

What kind of church turns away anyone? I don’t believe God would be pleased if we pick and choose who enters His house to hear the wonderful gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I would be scared that being a gay couple would give the priest in the school ideas about my kid because unlike a sane normal homosexual they are repressed humpy predatory machines hiding behind robes and a book......soooo...don't put the kid there. run ruuuuun

Tax exempt? If you operate in the public domain all laws should apply - anti-discrimination being one of them.

Great news, I’m sure this isn’t the only school in town. I can’t wait for unhinged leftists to scream “bigotry”💤💤💤

Enroll the child elsewhere. They are trying to get the child into a private school with known affiliations.

More reasons to reconsider my Catholic faith.

What would Jesus do?
