The Newark man was found guilty of indecent assault.

A New Jersey man has been convicted of indecent assault for inappropriately touching and kissing his girlfriend’s sleeping housemate at a college in Pennsylvania nearly two years ago.

The assault took place after Eric Jones, now 24, entered the woman’s room and asked for her phone number at the Lincoln House on the campus of Lincoln University in Lower Oxford, theThe woman, who had earlier been out drinking while attending Homecoming activities and parties on campus into the early morning of Oct. 17, 2021, provided Jones her number and attempted to end the interaction, officials said. Instead of leaving, though, Jones began to kiss and touch her.
