The Cape Breton Capers teams exploded offensively posting 5-2 and 5-1 victories over the Prince Edward Island Panthers .Amy-Anne Ndiaye, Leah Disipio, Liberty Yuke, Alliyah Rowe and Lauren Rowe netted goals for the Capers , who in the 73rd minute led 5-0.Cape Breton’s Ellie Lancaster made two saves. P.E.I.’s Claudia Mazzei stopped 14 of 19 shots.

The Capers will continue their weekend homestand on Saturday when they host the Mount Allison Mounties. The women play at 5:15 p.m. followed by the men at 7:15 p.m.
