A Trafford school has admitted a serious data breach after an email meant for a parent of a child who had been suspended was sent to scores of other parents by mistake.
The school, which has about 720 pupils aged 11 to 16, has since reported the matter to the Information Commission Office. The headmaster at the school has met with the parent of the suspended child to apologise in person for the breach.
