Mitchell earned nearly 60% of the final round’s votes. In earlier rounds, Mitchell Stadium attracted more votes than Paul Brown Tiger Stadium in Massillon, Ohio; the Round Valley Ensphere in Eagar, Arizona; and the Stadium Bowl in Tacoma, Washington, successively.
