At least one district is looking forward to the coming attraction of the 'College, Career, Workforce and Military Readiness' report card component.

More than two dozen bands took to the street along Cedar-Lee -- and also Noble Road -- for the 10th annual Heights Music Hop on Sept. 23, spread out across 15 different venues in the commercial district. This included the group RoadKill Revolution, shown here tuning up before their concert outside of Best Gyros restaurant, where the pink bass guitar appears to have caught the eye and ear of this young music fan.

“Also, the district earned a ‘five-star’ rating in ‘Gap Closing,’ specifically connected to closing educational gaps forbased on income, race, ethnicity or disability, as well as factors like chronic absenteeism, gifted performance and English learned as a second language. District officials also pointed out that the graduation rate for the Class of ‘23 came in at 90.3 percent, which will be incorporated into the 2024-25 state report card.
