Mater Dei traveled to St. Frances Academy in Baltimore for a game that featured two of the nation’s most prominent programs. Despite its 1-5 record, St. Frances is loaded with blue-chip talent, including Oregon quarterback commit Michael Van Buren. Mater Dei got the best of St. Frances in a 20-7 win to improve to 5-0.
As for Brown, his defense took care of business for him this week, scoring two of Mater Dei’s three touchdowns, per USA Today. Brown had a rushing touchdown, as well.
