Dr. David E. Christopher, Cumberland Valley School District's superintendent for the past four years, is expected to take over at West Chester Area School District in December.

District superintendent Dr. David E. Christopher fist bumps students at the conclusion of an assembly announcing that Hampden Elementary School received the National Blue Ribbon School award from the U.S. Department of Education. Christopher will be leaving CV to begin a similar role in West Chester, in suburban Philadelphia, in December. September 19, 2023.
